Welcome to Honest Energy, a year-long journey where I will deep dive into our energy storage and power generation challenges as part of my own self-education. If you’re interested in learning alongside with me, hop on this (clean-powered) nerd train and I’ll try my best to evaluate our challenges and technologies with both eyes open. We live in a hype-filled century, and I’ll do what I can to cut the crap with cold calculations and warm text :) I’ll be transparent about sources, share code/Jupyter notebooks if I generate any, and probably make a lot of images. Ultimately, my goal is to communicate complex engineering problems and opportunities in a consistent and digestible manner so we can all understand how screwed (or not) we are and what we should (and should not) hold our breaths for. My goal is to publish at least once a month. Maybe they’ll be a calendar at the end if you stick with me. We’ll see.
